Reconnect is an early access landing page for an upcoming iOS app. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why, and what happens to it. Short version: we only collect your email address, and only to let you know when the app launches.
What we collect
The only information you give us directly is your email address, submitted voluntarily through the signup form on this site. We do not collect your name or any other personal details.
We also use anonymous website analytics, described below — that's the only other data collection on this site.
How we use your email
- To add you to the Reconnect early access list.
- To send you one email when Reconnect is ready, along with your 20% launch discount if you signed up through the offer form.
- We will not send you marketing sequences, newsletters, or unsolicited emails beyond the above.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit this site and which pages they view. It's cookieless and doesn't use any persistent identifier that could track you across other websites — visitors are identified only by a hash generated from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours. The data (page URL, referrer, coarse location like city/region, device/browser type) is anonymous and aggregated; it is never tied to your email address or any individual visitor.
Who we share it with
Your email is stored as a contact in Resend (resend.com), the email platform we use. Resend processes your data on our behalf as a data processor. Anonymous analytics data is processed by Vercel, our hosting provider. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address with any other third party.
Local storage
When you sign up, your browser saves a small record locally (in localStorage) so the page remembers you have already joined. This data never leaves your device and is not a cookie. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Unsubscribing vs. deleting your data
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it immediately stops future emails — your email is marked unsubscribed in Resend right away, no waiting required.
Unsubscribing stops emails but doesn't remove the record itself. If you want your email address fully deleted from Resend, email us at support@reconnectme.app with the subject line "Delete my data" and we will remove it within 7 days. No questions asked.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change what data we collect or how we use it, we will update the effective date above. The policy will always be available at this URL.
